The Frampton Arms Hotel - Moreton (Dorset)

The hotel was clean, staff was nice. Fairly quiet room with an iron, coffee, shower, I had everything needed. The location of this property was marvellous and lovely.

The room was neat and air conditioned and had a nice decor. The bed was comfortable and the staff were attentive. The location was peaceful for traveling around Dorchester, very close to other than the railway station. It also was to the outside drinks area.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement

We enjoyed a pleasant evening at the hotel, although we found the dinner sitting quite early. Breakfast was adequate, but lacked variety. The staff were generally helpful, yet some improvements in customer engagement could enhance the experience. Consider arriving earlier for dinner!

The large garden was perfect for relaxation, though the room was quite noisy.

The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. I appreciated the attentive staff who ensured my needs were met, quickly sorting out my accommodation upon arrival. Breakfast featured an ample cold buffet, complete with endless coffee. During peak morning hours, the buffet area felt a bit chaotic, and it could be challenging to navigate with my limited mobility. The restaurant menu seemed slightly expensive compared to the surrounding options.

Just a top selection for a weekend getaway in Dorchester with fantastic value for money. The shower was lovely when no one else used it. Make sure to enjoy the beer selection when it's not too cold outside.

The breakfast was amazin, like a huge buffet with tons of yummy pastries, cereal, and coffee. The food in the restaurant was top notch! Had this leek n potato soup that was sooo good, i seriously couldve had more. The location was great too, super close to the train station, easy to get around. Oh, and the staff were super friendly, always smilin and helpin out.

With three grandchildren in tow, we loved the children's playground and spent hours having fun outside. The staff made sure our family reunion dinner was perfectly coordinated, a real treat for us all.

My kids wished for a pool or more activities for them inside the hotel.

Had a nice 3-night stay. The location was super convenient next to the station-perfect for popping into Dorchester! The pub had a lively vibe, and the restaurant served some tasty meals. My room was simple but clean. Just wish the staff had paid more attention during service. A few details were missed, a letdown.

The food was really good, especially the lamb chops, hands down the best i've ever had in the uk after moving from nz. It was a fantastic escape in dorchester.

Absolutely loved the good courtyard for drinks, and the large garden was perfect for relaxation.

The location is lovely, right in a small village. My room was super spacious and had nice decor, with a big bathroom that was really clean and the water pressure was fab. The bed was comfy and the staff were friendly. I loved the dinner, the lamb chops i had were the best after living in the uk for 11 years! Really enjoyed my time here and would totally come back.
